Petite Toilette

This small and neglected bathroom was in dire need of a makeover after years of accumulating caking limescale around taps and fittings, chipped tiles, and a rotting floor. It became a very unpleasant space for any form of self care and it offered no opportunity for a bit of pampering and personal grooming.

Drawing inspiration from the French and their uncanny knack to elegantly transform small spaces, rustic-industrial shelving units and rails were used to create the storage space this bathroom desperately needed.  A shower screen was installed despite the sloping walls. The piping around the toilet was boxed and a new chequered vinyl floor solved the underfoot rot problem and beautifully tied together all the design elements.
